A little about ourselvesWenda innovates the process and the technologies applied in the Food & Beverage industry, through the creation of Internet Things environment (IoT), which makes new user experiences available.
The goal is thus to transform data into information and to turn information into meaningful elements to drive business decision making, by planning innovative User Experiences for consumers and all winery chain actors through the integration of IoT, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data. Wenda has developed for different Food & Beverage markets (currently: wine & spirits, coffee, olive oil) innovative devices and data collection systems, which face specific issues, such as monitoring the product quality, the engagement, the traceability and ineffective sales. All these devices have in common the ability to fast and easily deliver the data to a single Cloud Platform. Here they are gathered, processed and transformed into meaningful information, that drive target audience decision making, with a simple and secure access to the Web. In Summer 2015, just a few months after its foundation, Wenda attended the European Innovation Academy in Nice, winning second place. For three weeks Wenda has participated in a competition with over 100 international startup companies, under the mentorship of Silicon Valley Startupper, consulting companies and prestigious universities such as Berkeley and Stanford. In July 2016 Wenda participated to the UniCredit Start Lab under "Innovative Made in Italy" category, winning an acceleration program. And in December 2016 Wenda won the special award IngDan - Far East Development at the Premio Marzotto, which leads to internationalization in China - Shenzhen, Beijing, Hong Kong, Chongqing - and in the Silicon Valley. |
