A little about ourselves

Underground Power SRL is a bright new reality in the field of green energy. Founded in 2011, the company was born with the ambition of transforming innovative energy harvesting techniques developed in collaboration with the university “Politecnico di Milano” into products useful for everyone.
The idea of adapting these studies to a device capable of retrieving vehicle’s wasted energy made the company won the prices for “Young Entrepreneurship” and “Innovative Company”.

In 2013 Underground Power has been also awarded by Cleantech Group as one of the “Top 10 Most Promising Green Company in Italy“. In 2014, to further demonstrate the success of this new clean approach to energy, the company received a record startup funding from UniCredit.

UP means Italian Clean technology: patented, designed and manufactured in our country and ready to be distributed on the global market.

Our Product
LYBRA is a smart "Speed Absorber". This device is installed ground flush in the areas where vehicles are expected to reduce their speed for road safety reasons. It helps cars respecting the speed limits and retrieves the kinetic energy wasted during the deceleration.
