Italian Innovation Day 2016
We are happy to announce that the first edition of the Italian Innovation Day was a great success, with around 130 participants, of which 13% were investors and almost 70% were corporations interested in the new technologies and products proposed by Italian startups.
There was a big participation also in terms of questions asked to the startups and the speakers, this meaning that we brought to Japan ideas relevant to the market. Two were the keys to success. First of all, the alliance with strategic partners who were able to select the most promising Italian startups that better match Japanese demand for innovation. Then, the high quality and clear objectives of the startups made it easier to attract a highly selected and targeted public. |
The Italian Innovation Day had a high profile and diversified audience: public institutions (JETRO, Business Development Center Tokyo, etc.), local startups and big corporations (NTT Data, Aeon Retail, Itochu Fashion System, Toyota, Yamaha, Mitsui & Co. Plant Systems, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Panasonic, Smith & Nephew Japan, Olympus Terumo, IHI Aerospace, Marubeni, Recruit Holdings, only to mention a few), investors, researchers and MBA students.
No doubts about the great opportunities awaiting for Italian startups in this part of the world and the demand for a second edition next year! |
